Hello everyone. Hope you are having a great week. Most of you are probably getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. Next week the DT does not have a post due to the holiday, but today we were asked to use more than one character and to create a scene. I used Winter Boy HLO and Winter Girl HLO, Fir trees and 1.5 inch Christmas circles sets to create my scene. I made a 4" wide stair step card. The back panel I stamped with two different inks the fir trees (two sizes) and then inked the background with distress inks and added white dots with a gel pen (falling snow).
W#hen I took the picture with the card sitting, the camera wanted to focus on the front, so I took a picture with card folded shut below, so you could see the different characters positions in scene.
I colored the HLO's with Copic markers and fussy cut and popped up on the card. I embossed the white panels with snowflake embossing folder. Hope you enjoy the DT creations today and set your eyes and mind on things above and have things to be truely thankful.

Inspired Stamps November New Release
Hello and welcome to the Inspired Stamps November New Release. Today I created a card with a new Hymn Girl: Season of Advent Stamp set. It comes with three stamps; the girl, the sentiment shown on the card and scripture. I stamped the Hymn Girl in Versa Mark black onyx ink and colored with some distress markers, to highlight candle. I used distress inks around the edges and added Martha Stewart flower and branch punches. The background paper is from the BoBunny Christmas Collage collection 6 X 6 paper pads.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello Everyone, It is Thursday and the Inspired Stamps DT is back with some new projects. Today we were asked to make anything that included scripture. My brain is still on Christmas projects since we are less than two months away. I haven't placed stamped images on candles lately so I thought I would try with tea lights. I used Inspired Stamps: Spring Sketches and Ephesians 5:20 individual scripture to decorate the tea lights and the the box.
I cut out several circles of tissue paper with my Spellbinder circle dies. I found it worked best if you cut several layers at a time with a piece of paper or cardstock on top. This helps everything to cut nice and neat and release from the die. I used the carstock piece as a template to find center to punch hole in tissue paper for the wick to come through. I stamped on the tissue paper with Versafine ink and then turned each piece over to color with Copics (on the backside) and then punched the center hole using the cardstock template. I then applied heat with my heat tool and melted the tissue paper to the top of the tea light. I made the box and decorated with more Spring Sketches stamps and then added the scripture. Voila, you are ready to give a small gift to a sweet friend. You could leave the outside silver cup showing or wrap in decorative paper or do as I did and wrap with Washi tape.
I hope you enjoyed my project. Make sure to check Inspired Stamps Blog for the rest of the DT projects and the continuation of the 12 weeks of Christmas posts each Friday for more inspiration. Have a great day.

Inspired Stamps- 12 weeks of Christmas
Hello everyone,
Christmas is right around the corner and many of us are still looking for Christmas card and project ideas. Well at the Inspired Stamps blog you will find a new idea each week, this week it is my turn to share a project tutorial. Today I created a "card in a box" using the Shepherd boy and the standing sheep stamp and laying sheep stamp. I stamped the sheep several times on cardstock and watercolored the images using distress markers. There are several different versions of this "card in a box" on the internet, but I like this one the best because you can get two out of one 8.5 X 11 inch piece of cardstock. You cut the 11 inch side in half, to get two pieces of 8.5 X 5.5 inches.
The box panel is folded and burnished on three sides. (You want to keep fourth side upright, this will be your back panel, this is also where the sides are attached with strong adhesive. Cut up three of the score lines to create flaps (this is the shorter of the panels).
The Z-fold strips are placed on the inside of the box. It is easiest to use a strip with fold facing back panel and line up with the back edge, adhere, then line up side and fold box on side and burnish. Repeat with strip toward the front of the box. These pieces are needed for the box to have stability and to allow you to attach your embellishments. I added pieces of BoBunny paper from the Christmas Collage collection. The pieces were cut to 2 X 2.25 inches, adhere to 3 side panels, the back panel was a bit longer.
I cut 1/4 inch strips to attach to back of my Shepherd and sheep to better attach them to the inside strips. I also added some grass to these strips, since sheep are grazers and it helped mask the white strips. I added Luke 2:11 to front flap and stars to back panel.
More BoBunny Christmas Collage paper was added to bottom panels.
The back of the box is where you can stamp your sentiment and write your personal message. My sentiment came from the Christmas verses set.
Here is the box folded flat. When you are adding your embellishements you want to make sure they will not stick out the sides when folded flat, so that the card will still fit in a standard A2 envelope. The card mails flat, but what a wonderful surprise for your recipient when the open up and see your creation. I just love how fun these cards are to make and how happy they make the recipient. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial and I hope you will give this card a try. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you so much for stopping by today and please be sure to check in often at the Inspired Stamps blog for more inspiration.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello everyone. Today the Inspired Stamps DT was asked to make" anything but a card with scripture".
I have wanted to make a coaster home decor item for a while and decided to make something for the Christmas season to go along with our 12 weeks of Christmas. Tomorrow I am the guest designer for the 12 weeks of Christmas post and I will have a special card project with instructions, so please be sure to check back.
Today I used 3 different shaped coasters. I look for these when they go on clearance since I know I will be covering them with my own designs, I don't worry about what is on them.
I used several Inspired Stamps sets for this project: 1.5 inch circle Christmas, Ask, Seek and Knock, Isaiah 9:6, Perfect Christmas Sentiments,Christmas verses and Typewriter text lowercase.
I covered the coasters with Christmas papers and stamped images and colored with Copic markers. I added embellishments such as, white enamel paint for snow on tree, colored pearls, punched corregated stars, rosette snowflake, etc...
I hope you are inspired to make a home decor item that tells your visitors the true meaning of Christmas; the gift of Jesus.
Have a great day and be sure to check with the Inspired Stamps Online store for all of these sets and the Inspired Stamps blog for all the wonderful creations by our DT and to follow the 12 weeks of Christmas posts. Remember I will be back tomorrow with a special project for the 12 weeks of Christmas. Thanks for stopping by.

Inspired Stamps- DT Thursday
Today the Inspired Stamps design team is bringing you "Fall Birthday" cards. I made my card with Perfect Sentiments and Fall Gratitude, Inspired Stamp sets. The designer papers are from the BoBunny Apple Cider Collection.
I inked all the paper edges with walnut stain distress ink. I cut a flower from a couple of Spellbinder flower die sets. I cut a few small tags and stamped images from Fall Gratitude and then inked with antique linen and walnut stain distress inks.
Remember every Friday is a new project posted on the Inspired Stamps Blog for the 12 weeks of Christmas, don't miss some great ideas.
Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

Inspired Stamps- DT Thursday
Fall is in the air. Most schools are taking Fall breaks, so at Inspired Stamps we are making Fall cards. Today I used the Flower Value Pack set for the sunflowers and stems and Perfect Sentiments for all the sentiments.
I used BoBunny Apple Cider Collection and Neutral double dot papers. Both of these paper packs and many others are now available for purchase in the Inspired Stamps Online Store.
I colored and fussy cut all the sunflowers and stems.I added glossy accents and glitter to the center of each flower. I love the extra sparkle each flower provides to the card, but the glitter will not flake off because it is embedded in the glossy accents. I used dies for the label and the flower pot and the Fiskars grass border punch for the grass around the pot. I also used a Sizzix die to create the pop up element.
I thought it would be fun to open to a bouquet of flowers.
Please check out the other DT creations by visiting their websites and check out what is new for this weeks post as well as to follow the 12 weeks of Christmas posts over at the Inspired Stamps Blog.
Have a great day and be safe.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
We are finishing up 30 days of Christmas at Inspired Stamps. The Christmas stamps are on sale and there is plenty of inspiration to help you get your Christmas cards under way. Last week the 1 inch Snowmen were taken out of temporary retirement. There are limited numbers of this set left in the Inspired Stamps Online Store, so if you love this set as much as I do, go and grab one for yourself. This set is great for cards, tags and gift giving.
I used a manilla tag and covered it with BoBunny Christmas collage papers and inked the edges. I stamped the sentiment from this set in the lower corner in brown ink. I cut several vellum snowflakes from various Sizzix thin dies and punched out the smaller Martha Stewart snowflake. I stamped and colored the snowmen and punched with 1 inch and half inch circle punches and attached to tag. I tied a triple loop bow and attached to bottome of tag. The reinforcement at top of tag was die cut and adhered. Tied a bow with Baker's twine and attached tag to snowflake card front.
Hope you enjoyed my card. Please be sure to check out the other DT Christmas creations by clicking on the links to the right or visiting the Inspired Stamps blog. I hope all the different Christmas cards have given you ideas for your card making this Christmas. Have a blessed day.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello Everyone! Back with more Christmas cards. I hope you are getting some inspiration for your own Christmas cards. We have lots of beautiful designs made by the design team for this whole month as well as several at the Inspired Stamps Blog, so be sure to check them all out. All the stamps used in these designs are available at the Inspired Stamps Online Store and I believe there is a sale with all the Christmas stamps still going on, so be sure to take advantage.
Today I chose to make a card that would be easily mass produced. I used the Snowflake all over punch from Martha Stewart to punch the white cardstock, I backed it with some beautiful Bo Bunny Powder Mountain papers (guess what, they are soon to be in stock in the Inspired Stamps Online Store, along with other BoBunny 6 X 6 paper packs), I cut three flags with other papers in this great collection. I stamped the Merry Christmas tree using a couple of blue ink pads, as well as a brown for the trunk and a yellow for the star. I added a bit of clear stardust glitter pen. This card can be easily mass produced and the colors can be changed for a whole different look.
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out all the great designs created by the rest of the DT.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello everyone. Inspired Stamps is celebrating 30 days of Christmas in the month of September. If you need some Christmas card inspiration make sure to visit the Inspired Stamps blog this whole month. Today and every Thursday in September, the Inspired Stamps DT are creating Christmas cards using Christmas stamps or maybe stamp sets that are not Christmas sets in a Christmas way. Today I used the Bind and Stitch set using the crossstitch lines to create my own Christmas tree and the star image from the Psalm 91 Protection set. This is a flip interactive card so for the backside of the circle I used an image from the 1.5 inch circle Christmas set.
I used some Christmas patterned paper and red cardstock. I punched some evergreen boughs and flowers for an accent on each corner.
I just love these interactive cards, but I have not mastered how to take a great picture of each side of the card. I will have to continue to work on that.
You can find the stamp sets I used today and many others in the Inspired Stamps Online store. Please be sure to visit the other DT members blogs by clicking on the links in my sidebar to see their wonderful Christmas creations.

Friday Friends with Flair
Hello Everyone! Good to be back and creating with Unity. I had to take a few weeks off with getting dd ready for college and settled in. It has been so hot here that I find it just zaps my creativity, how about you?
Today I used Unity's Itty Bitty; Untamed Beauty. I am in love with mason jars, so I stamped a mason jar from Inkadinkado's mason jar set and colored with distress inks. I colored the image with Copic markers and pulled out my sewing machine to stitch at bottom of card near sentiment. This has been on my chicken list for quite a while, but I finally cleared a space for my sewing machine and gave it a go. I really like it. I added some ribbon and gems for a finishing touch and voila. Enjoy! Thank you for stopping by.

Inspired Stamps Christmas month
Hope you are enjoying a restful Labor Day. Today the Inspired Stamps design team is creating with Christmas stamps. I used one of my favorite stamp sets Winter Ruth. This set comes with several sentiments and different objects for this darling girl to hold. You can find Winter Ruth and all the stamp sets used today in the Inspired Stamps Online Store.
I used an embossing diffuser to leave center area blank so I could stamp Winter Ruth while the outside was embossed with Sizzix snowflake embossing folder. I pulled out the Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and colored in the image. I added some details using white enamel for her fur collar, the snow on the ground and on the tree. I added glitter to the embossed background to make it sparkle. I added some Glossy accents and glitter to the Christmas ornament. Stamped sentiment and made a banner, added some scalloped ruffles at the bottom and voila. I hope you try this technique of embossing around your stamped image. Please be sure to check out the other DT creations. Click on the links below to go to their blogs, please be sure to leave them some love. Now it is time for you to be inspired and get out your supplies and start making some Christmas cards. Happy crafting!

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello everyone! It is HOT, HOT, HOT here. Boy, does it zap everything out of you.
Today the DT could create anything. We usually use the wonderful scripture stamps but today I wanted to showcase the other versatile stamps available in the Inspired Stamps Online store. I made this gift set using a couple of stamp sets: Tags and Thank you.. I closed the bag with a clothes pin (that I dyed myself). I stamped the "Homemade with Love" sentiment from the Tags set. I added a handmade rose and leaf. I used the "Thank you" set for the sentiment and flowers on the tag.
I made the gift bag with the gift bag punch board and cut a window with a dye and added Bazzill paper to the front.
What do you think? Some homemade cookies inside. Would you like to receive this?
Have a great day and try to stay cool. Please be sure to click on the other DT members in the sidebar to see what they came up with this week and head over to the Inspired Stamps Online Store for these stamps and so many more.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello Everyone. It is Thursday. School is back in full swing. It is hard to believe but Fall will soon be here, so today we are creating fall themed cards using our favorite Inspired Stamps. I love sunflowers, they are so bright and cheery and make a great transition from summer to fall. So I used the Fall Gratitude set with Flower value pack. I colored the flowers with Copic markers and popped them up for added dimension. The scripture I chose is Psalm 107:1. This is a scripture we should have in our hearts in every season. No matter what we are going through the Lord is still good and we should still praise Him. Praise Him today for what He has done for you.
Please stop by the other DT blogs to see their fall themed cards. Inspired Stamps are made of clear polymer in the USA and can be purchased in the Inspired Stamps Online store. Thank you for stopping by today and have a blessed weekend.

Unity Friends with Flair
Hello Friends with Flair. Just a quick post today showing these cute mason jars cut using a Sizzix Bigz die. You can cut the large and small jars with lids and the side piece to make this into a treat box. I cut each of the jars out of recycled cardboard (cereal boxes) and cardstock.
On the large jar I stamped with a script background stamp in distress ink and then stamped the flower from the Unity; Feel the Joy set in Versa Mark and white embossed. I then used distress inks to ink up jar to look like one of those blue Ball jars and then stamped the sentiment in black ink. I added a bit of lace under the jar lid. I don't know if you can see it well in the picture but I added the embossed lines on the jar lid, they just cut flat, but I wanted to try to make them look like "real" lids. On the smaller jar, I embossed the paper and inked and added a shear ribbon around jar. These are super fun to make and I can't wait to try to figure out what I can fill them with.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to give suggestions for filling these pretties up.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday Waterfall Christmas
Hello and Happy Thursday. We are showcasing more Christmas cards this week. I decided to make a waterfall card using the Vintage Christmas stamp set.
I cut a piece of red cardstock at 1 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches and scored at 1 3/4, 2 3/4, and 3 3/4. Make crisp folds. I used the same 2 inch square punch for black matte and white stamped piece. I used the deco edge corner chomper on the white piece and then matted on black piece. Adhere only top edge to top edge of each scored section. I added a ribbon at the bottom for a pull.
The red piece of cardstock going across the card serves as an anchor for waterfall piece. I cut mine at 1 inch by 5.5 inches. Use strong adhesive to attach only edges of this piece to the card front. Feed long, back tab of waterfall behind this piece and the bottom of the front piece attach with strong adhesive to the lower edge of this piece. Now the waterfall is anchored so when you pull the tab your images should cascade down one at a time. This is a fun card to make, I hope you will give it a try.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed the card and tutorial. Have a blessed day.

Inspired Stamps Christmas in July Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the Inspired Stamps Christmas in July Blog Hop. You should have arrived from Deneen's blog, if not you can start from the beginning by clicking on the Inspired Stamps Blog link.
Today the Inspired Stamps DT is making Christmas cards using one or two Inspired Stamps stamp sets to inspire you to get started on those cards that you will need to send to those special people in your life. I used the 1.5 inch circle Christmas and the words on the tree in the circle card are from Perfect Christmas sentiments. I used the same basic elements in each card but changed the layout: portrait, landscape and circular. I used a combination of Spellbinder dies: pennants and scalloped pennants, Sizzix die: postage rectangle, circle dies and scallop circle dies.
I embossed snowflakes on the white card background and added the 1.5 inch circle Christmas sentiment. I tied a bow with cream organza ribbon around the scalloped tree.
I used the same elements as the first card but changed the layout, added patterned paper for background (hand cut the snow) and added a third tree. This time I embossed two of the three trees and added sequins and button embellishments.
The third card I made a round card base and added patterned paper. I stamped words from Perfect Christmas sentiments on the largest tree and added tiny star sequins to the smallest scalloped tree.
The 1.5 inch circle Christmas set has six different sentiments, I have used 3 of the 6 in my cards today.
As you can see this is a very versatile set and a perfect addition to your Christmas stamps.
All the Christmas stamps are on sale (no code or coupon required) for the next week only (July 31), so head on over to the Inspired Stamps Online store and add these sets.
I hope you are enjoying the hop so far next stop is the very talented Kary. Thank you for hopping with us today and remember to take advantage of the sale and start making your Christmas cards. I have over 40 Christmas cards made so far about 40 more to go.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday. We are having awesome weather for summer. It is mostly sunny in the low 70s. Today the Inspired Stamps DT could choose any of the stamps released in the past 3 months. I chose Genesis 1:1 and paired it up with Hymn: Earth and Weather (the stars come from a set called Psalm 91: Protection).
I used water color paper (smooth side) and stamped all the stars with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink, then I stamped the moon and the earth with Ranger Archival black ink (this is a nice ink to use with water coloring). I then started layering the colors. I added mustard seed to the stars to give more depth of color. I painted around the stars with tumbled glass, broken china and stormy sky. I painted the earth with salty ocean and added black soot around the edges of piece and around the edges of scripture piece. I popped up the scripture piece with foam adhesive. I matted the piece on black cardstock and then on a white card base.
I added glitter pen to the stars, I like how the piece turned out. Let me know what you think.
Attention: Inspired Stamps is having a one week contest

I matted the piece on black cardstock and then on a white card base.
I added glitter pen to the stars, I like how the piece turned out. Let me know what you think.
