For this card I used glossy cardstock to stamp the Amazing Grace background in Versamark ink. I allowed it to dry completely and then inked with peeled paint and faded jeans Distress inks and buffed with a clean cloth, then I went over image with black soot and buffed image again. I stamped the image from Be Still Silhouettes The image was cut with Spellbinder squares and the matte was Spellbinder lacey squares. I cut the card with the square die and voila a lovey square card. I love the ghosting of the words behind the image.

girl studying HLO and scripture from Amazing Grace set. I used Copic markers to color in the girl and cut and embossed using rectangle Spellbinder dies. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the bottom half of my card and a piece of Washi tape at "seam". I used some punched hearts to fill in some of the spaces from the embossing and the larger of the punched hearts to make a flower mounted on a white circle with a black brad in the center to tie together all the elements. It is a CAS card. Thank you for stopping by today, please be sure to check out the other creations made by the DT. Have a blessed day. Check out the Inspired Stamps blog for more ideas.

Hello again, it is Thursday and we are doing patriotic/military projects. I decided to do a little of both with this cute HLO soldier boy and some stars with texture added from a Spellbinder embossing folder and of course the red, white and blue color scheme. I stamped the sentiment from the Psalm 91 Protection. I added some red glitter to the edges of the star for some added bling. I colored the soldier boy with Copic markers and used a mask to then ink around the image with faded jeans distress inks. Please be sure to check out these images and many others in the Inspired Stamps online store and check out the Inspired Stamps blog for more amazing projects by the other DT members. Have a great day and say a prayer for those in our military who are serving to protect our freedoms here in the U.S.A. Thank you for stopping by and leave me a comment I would love to hear from you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 that I used in my project as well as many new HLO as can be seen at Deneeen, Kary and Gaby's blogs.
I decided to recover a notebook I purchased from Michael's in there $1.00 bin a while back. I used some coordinating dp from DCWV, Lemon Flower and some silver glitter ribbon and some lace with green accents. I used Spellbinder dies to cut and emboss the scripture piece and the matte. I even finished the inside cover as you can see in the picture below. This will be a great notebook to take down prayer requests or for bible study notes. I heard something recently that resonated with my current situation "It is not well with my circumstances, but it is well with my soul." This verse I used on my notebook project reminds us that no matter what we are going through we are to give God praise and rejoice, He will see us through if we will only ask.
I hope you have a great day and that you will stop and rejoice in your situation, no matter what it is because God knows and will see you through it.
