Hello and happy Thursday. We have been having some beautiful, sunny weather here in the Midwest. So it inspired me to make my own backgrounds to go with this stamp set. I used distress inks to lay in the grass, sky filled with clouds. I did this on two different sized circles and stamped John 10:27-28 in Versafine Black Onyx ink.
I stamped the sheep (individual stamp) in Memento Tuxedo Black and used Cool gray Copics and white enamel paint for texture. I cut a banner and added another sentiment from The Lord is My Shepherd set and used some background papers from DCWV.
I had fun getting inky and creating my own backgrounds. I hope you enjoy and meditate on this verse and thank God that no matter what, we are His and no one can snatch us from His Hand. We are safe in His arms, this is so comforting. I hope you find comfort in it today and have a wonderful day.
Thanks for stopping by and please check out the Inspired Stamps blog for more inspiration and find these stamps and many others in the Online Etsy Store.

Inspired Stamps Christmas month
Hope you are enjoying a restful Labor Day. Today the Inspired Stamps design team is creating with Christmas stamps. I used one of my favorite stamp sets Winter Ruth. This set comes with several sentiments and different objects for this darling girl to hold. You can find Winter Ruth and all the stamp sets used today in the Inspired Stamps Online Store.
I used an embossing diffuser to leave center area blank so I could stamp Winter Ruth while the outside was embossed with Sizzix snowflake embossing folder. I pulled out the Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and colored in the image. I added some details using white enamel for her fur collar, the snow on the ground and on the tree. I added glitter to the embossed background to make it sparkle. I added some Glossy accents and glitter to the Christmas ornament. Stamped sentiment and made a banner, added some scalloped ruffles at the bottom and voila. I hope you try this technique of embossing around your stamped image. Please be sure to check out the other DT creations. Click on the links below to go to their blogs, please be sure to leave them some love. Now it is time for you to be inspired and get out your supplies and start making some Christmas cards. Happy crafting!

Inspired Stamps Christmas in July
Christmas in July here at Inspired Stamps. The DT has put together some projects that are sure to motivate you to start working on your Christmas cards. Every year I say I will start early and make my Christmas cards, but I am always making them right up until Christmas Eve. I hope to do a better job this year, how about you? Do you like making your cards ahead of time or are you always making them right up until Christmas?
For this card I used Winter Ruth and Perfect Christmas Sentiments, Inspired Stamps. Winter Ruth is so versatile since she can be used alone or you can add one of the six add-ons. I chose to use the cross with a heart in it, since I wanted to use the sentiment Celebrating Jesus. Since that is what Christmas is all about, the celebration of our Savior's birth.
I colored the image with Copic markers and added some white enamel paint for her "fur" collar and the snow.
The background was embossed with a Sizzix embossing snowflake folder and inked with Distress inks (broken china, faded blue jeans and walnut ink). I spritzed the whole thing with shimmer spray. I added the red border (dp My Minds Eye).
Remember that Inspired Stamps is continuing their sale of 25% off your order through July 31, go to the Inspired Stamps Store and shop for your favorites today and get a start on your Christmas cards. Don't forget to check out the other DT blogs for more fabulous projects and ideas. Thank you to everyone who stopped by last week and visited our Christmas tag blog hop. I appreciated all your nice comments. Have a great day and stay cool.

Inspired Stamps-March Shape Up
Hello Everyone, Happy Thursday. Today at Inspired Stamps, the DT has been challenged to create projects with shape stamps. I have chosen to use Scenic View, Inspired Stamps. This set has mountains, grass, water, clouds, a fence, among other scenic items. I chose to create a window view of the mountains. I used the Strength set for my sentiment.
Ink: Tuxedo black and rich cocoa, Memento and crushed olive, distressed ink Ranger
Paper: White cardstock, Georgia Pacific
Tools: Spellbinders label one
Embellishments: liquid pearls and white enamel paint
Techniques: coloring, Copic markers; inked sentiment label with distress ink; used pop dots for dimension
Thank you for stopping by, please leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Also please stop by my fellow DT blogs to see their creative projects using shape stamps. Hope you have a great day!
