Hello and happy Thursday! Today at Inspired Stamps the Thursday DT was asked to make a Christmas easel card. I chose to use this adorable 1 inch Snowman set, it comes with these cute images and many more (I had trouble choosing which images I wanted to use on the card). It also comes with the sentiment "There is Snow God like our God".
To make the card I started with a 4.25 X 11 inch piece of cardstock, which I scored at 5.5 and 8.25 inches. I folded the card in half (at 5.5 inch mark) and then folded the 8.25 inch section up (this is where you will attach your front panel). The front panel is 4.25 X 5.5 inches (this is a standard A2 card). I cut a "wreath" using the second from the largest and the second from the smallest Spellbinder circle dies. I taped the dies in place and cut them at the same time. I also cut some snowflakes from the Spellbinder snowflakes dies and punched some with my Martha Stewart snowflake punch. I used blue and white glitter paper for these snowflakes. I punched several 1 inch circles and stamped images and colored with Copic markers, as you can see I colored all the snowmen with the same colors for consistency. I added small red buttons and a double bow to finish off the wreath.
I used Martha Stewart Christmas paper with embossed snowflakes, which I matted with a piece of red cardstock to be consistent with colors used with the coloring of the snow people.
I used a 1.5 inch circle punch to punch out sentiment and placed it on a snowflake for easel part of card.
To go with this verse I chose a verse from Christmas verses talking about the "uniqueness" of our God. I hope you enjoyed this project, please be sure to check out all the DT blogs, the Tuesday DT made stair step cards and the Thursday DT made easel cards. Remember that for every 25.00 spent at Inspired Stamps Store you can choose a free 3.99 stamp, this offer ends at the end of September. Unity Friends with Flair
Hello fellow friends with flair, this is my creation for this week. I made this for a couple who had celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Wow! So awesome and I thought I would send them a card. I used the Joy=Gratitude Itty Bitty set. I love this set and I added some script in the background and inked with antique linen distress inks and added some flowers and bling. Not fully happy with it but wanted to send it while they were still celebrating. Hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

Inspired Stamps Shaped Card DT Thursday
Hello Everyone it is DT Thursday. This week we were asked to make a shaped card. I thought a heart would be perfect to go with Proverbs 3:5. I cut the heart with my Cricut machine using the Wild Card cart. I then wove the red ribbon, like stitchers in the card and tied a bow. I stamped the verse and heat embossed with black embossing powder and added some red Prima flowers and buttons. Very sweet and simple. I hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by. Please note the September special of a free 3.99 stamp with every $25.00 you spend. Visit the Inspired Stamps Store for choices.

My Favorite Things-Tea Party
I love the Pure Innocence line of My Favorite Things (MFT). I had purchased this set a while back at my local stamping store and never inked it up. A friend's daughter was having a tea party birthday and I thought this would be perfect. I stamped and cut out the dress and the tablecloth out of patterned paper and colored the rest of the image with Copic markers. I used Hero Arts pennants for the middle birthday pennant and some Martha Stewart bakers twine. I used Spellbinders to cut the pennants and the image. Super sweet. I love how it turned out. Hope you are having a great day, thanks for stopping by.

Inspired Stamps September Release
It is September Release at Inspired Stamps and boy oh boy are you going to want to check out the projects each day by the DT. You can check out the Inspired Stamps blog each day to see the new projects and then pop over to the DT blogs to leave them each some love. This month I was asked to create with the new Tags set, this set comes with several outline tags (you can see one outline tag on my card and the other on my memory tag set), it also comes with a solid tag which I used on my memory tag set, it has Phil 4:13 (as seen on my card). This is one of my favorite verses and I love the graphic style. For my card I used some dp from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) and matted it on black cardstock. I stamped an outline tag on white cardstock, stamped verse and then inked with distress ink. I used the larger cross from set and then masked off the cross in Phil 4:13 verse to create the three crosses at top of card. I used black enamel paint from Ranger for interest and a piece of Martha Stewart ribbon to cover the seam. I think it makes a nice masculine card.
The two golden colored tags are new verses this month. |
I also made some memory verse tags. You could use as a key ring or attach to your backpack or purse and have verses you wanted to "hide in your heart" at your finger tips. I decorated the outside tag a bit to make it fun. I used the large solid tag in the set to stamp all the backgrounds and then chose some verses. You can keep adding to your collection of tags as you memorize verses. All the 2X2 verses I tried fit on this tag and bonus starting Friday Inspired Stamps will give you a free 2X2 stamp of your choice with any purchase of 25.00. Also remember today 9/10 is the last day to receive 40% off the highest priced item in your cart. The sets featured this week will not be available at the Inspired Stamps online store until noon on Friday. I hope you enjoyed my projects and have a great day!

Unity Friends with Flair
Hello Everyone TGIF and Friends with Flair. I made a cute little card for someone off at college. I thought Loads of Love was a cute set for a college student, since they are now having to think about laundry on a regular basis. Probably not as much as I have to think about it (daily), but still maybe more than when they were at home.
I just did a CAS card using Spellbinders and Copic markers and cut a piece of patterned paper and cut the tails with square punch, added a small bow and voila! Sweet and Simple. Let me know what you think.

Inspired Stamps-Thursday DT choice
Hello and happy Thursday. This week at Inspired Stamps is DT choice. I was still in the Christmas mood, trying to find more styles of Christmas cards. I usually make 6-8 of each style and then make a new style. I cut a triangle with Spellbinders and embossed with branches embossing folder and then stamped the Perfect Christmas Sentiments and cut them in strips and placed them on tree. I love how this turned out and how quick it came together, this is definately a winner for one of my Christmas cards. I used a punched brown square for base and a star punch for top of tree.
I also made a wedding or anniversary card using the Lovely Lace set and the Spellbinder heart circle die set. I used a light pink ink for the background and a darker pink for the sentiment. I used a light pink organza ribbon. Pink and gray works great for weddings and anniversaries. I love the details of this set, please check it out this week and take advantage of the 40% off the highest priced item in your cart until September 10. Please check out the other DT blogs for their creations this week. Always beautiful inspiration to be seen at www.inspiredstamps.blogspot.com
