Faux fabric panel

I stamped a panel and colored with Copic markers then cut out with square die and embossed with Sizzix folder.

I just loved how it looked like a piece of quilted fabric. I cut a matte and then used border punch on bottom edge. The flower was stamped three times and cut out, cutting each layer one size smaller the than previous layer.

Paper: white cardstock, Georgia Pacific; black cardstock, The Paper Company

Ink: Tuxedo black, Memento

Tools: border punch, Fiskars; embossing folder, Sizzix; square die, Spellbinders

Techniques: coloring and shading with Copic markers, embossing colored panel to make look like fabric

Embellishments: brad

I really love this quick and easy technique, it adds a lot of texture and depth to project without a lot of bulk, which is important if you are planning on sending card through the postal system.

Thanks for looking, please feel free to leave me a comment.
