Here is my interpretation. First I love the Mehndi Medallion stamp set that I just purchased this weekend at Stamp-a-faire. I wanted to try something different with it so I stamped it several times in Memento Tangelo ink, SU Brocade blue and Memento Rich Cocoa. I then cut by hand (will be looking for a circle or scallop to cut it out in future) or punched out parts of the image with various sized circle punches and popped up each layer with pop dots.( I attempted to show that in bottom photo).
I also purchased the dies for Turning A New Leaf die set and I cut it out of Spring Moss. I used the sentiment out of the exclusive Iconic Images set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. We had a lot of fun over the weekend and met a lot of talented people. Thank you PTI for a great event.
Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you. Have a great day.
Your medallion looks great all layered up. Great card.
ReplyDeleteHello there! Your layered medallion looks incredible! I love that you made it into a flower with the leaves behind it--so clever! Great choice of colors, too.

ReplyDeleteI love how you cut out each layer and popped up the medallion. The leaves behind it are the perfect touch. So glad you had time to make a card for the hop.
