Puppy Birthday card

Here is a sweet puppy birthday card from the Mimi set by Penny Black.  I made this for one of DD besties for her birthday.

I colored him with Copic markers.  I cut the image with Spellbinders dies as well as the matte.  I love it.  Can you see on the purple matte the embossed dots on the edge?  Gorgeous.  I inked the main image with Distress inks for some interest.  I stamped "for you" with the same butterfly and punched out with circle punch.  I then punched a scalloped circle that wasn't large enough to matte the entire image so I placed it to the side with scallops peaking out.

Hope you have a terrific day!  Thank you for visiting.

Happy Birthday- PTI Anniversary set

Hello again, here is another birthday card.  For most of these cards I tried to add something extra to the inside of the card.
Stamps: PTI anniversary set
Ink: rich cocoa, dandelion and cantaloupe, Memento; old olive, SU!
Paper: real red, SU!; harvest gold, PTI; white cardstock, Wausau
Tools: Spellbinder dies
Techniques: rock and roll, used dandelion and rolled edges in canteloupe before stamping.
Embellishments: gems colored with red Copic marker
Have a great labor day weekend.  I know my family is going to enjoy some time off.  Please let me know what you think.  I just love this set, so simple yet beautiful.
