Inspired Stamps April Release

Hello Everyone and welcome to the Inspired Stamps April Release.  Today I chose to make a card that really shows off these two new sets:  Hymn Girl August and Hymn Earth and Weather sets.  I chose to use only the sun and cloud from the latter set, but there are many more images such as, rain drops, umbrella, earth etc...

I stamped all the images onto white card base and then made a mask for each image and used Tim Holtz Distress inks to make the grass and sky.  I peeled off the mask for the sun and carefully inked  and went in with Distress markers and water brush to add more color. (I only have Spiced Marmalade in the Distress marker not ink pads.)  I did the same with the Hymn Girl August and used Distress markers and water brush to color in her dress.  I used flesh tone Copics for her skin.  And that was it card is finished, but don't these new images just "shine"?
Remember the $10.00 giveaway in Inspired Stamp product if you leave a comment on this weeks post and last weeks Inspired Stamps Thursday DT post (pink monochromatic).  You must leave a comment on both posts by Midnight April 9.  The more DT posts you comment on the better your chances.  Also three commenters on the Inspired Stamps blog post will be chosen.  So please comment and let us know what you think of our creations as well as these great new Hymn stamp releases.  The new releases will be available in the Inspired Stamps Store, so please stop by and check them out and any other deals that may be taking place.
Thank you so much for stopping by and please leave me a comment, I really love to hear from you and check out the other great releases and I hope you are inspired.
