Hello everyone. I hope you are off to having a great Thursday. This week we were asked to make birthday cards. I have been under the weather and I think my crafting mojo has been hit as well, so I came up with three clean and simple cards. I used the typewriter text lowercase alphabet and Perfect Sentiments. I change out the card colors and the border punch, added bits of ribbon and flowers and voila.
Thanks for stopping by and please be sure to check out the other DT projects by visiting the Inspired Stamps blog.

Inspired Stamps- DT Thursday
Hello, hello this Thursday. Inspired Stamps has some incredible new alphabet stamps and the DT will be showcasing different ways to use the alphabets in their projects today. I had seen a magnet board recently that caught my eye. I went to the Dollar Tree and found these baking pans. I bought a few, I even checked that magnets would stick to them before I bought them. When I got home I made a plan. I already had the clear, flat gems and sticky pads (both purchased at Dollar Tree and now just in my supplies waiting for the right project). I covered the baking pan with dp containing scripture from Hobby Lobby. I stamped the first letter of each day of the week, but used th for Thursday on a 1 1/4 inch circle punched out of white cardstock. I glued on gem with clear adhesive and then added strong magnet to the back. I only had the lowercase alphabet, but I like the look. I made a library pocket with template out of coordinated paper and used a Spellbinder die for banners. You could add words for things you or your family do most often, like Bible study, AWANA, meetings, orthodontist, doctor, etc... but then have a few blanks in the pocket to add new items. The sticky pad and library pocket were attached with magnets, so they can be moved around or taken down to better write a note and placed back on baking sheet. This same concept could be made into a menu board, if you are good about planning out the week's menu. I know that is the first thing my kids every afternoon when they come in from school, "what's for dinner?" The answer could be on the menu board.
I hope you like my project, it was very inexpensive and easy to do and I love the results.
Please let me know if you have any other ideas you could use a magnet board like mine and leave the suggestions in my comments area for others to be inspired. Check out the Inspired Stamps blog for more great ideas by the DT and check out typewriter text lowercase and all the others available at the Inspired Stamps store.

Inspired Stamps-DT Thursday Mother's Day
Good Morning. I hope you are having a great Thursday. Today at Inspired Stamps, the DT is thinking about Mothers and making Mother's Day cards. I used Proverbs 31 set and flowers set. I made three very different cards.
The first card in green and pink, I used Prov 31:28 on outside and inside I stamped "Happy Mother's Day". The flowers and butterflies were made with punches or flower dies. I added a bit of bling to the butterflies.
On this second card I chose a different color combo, thinking personally of my own mom. She loves red. I did a bit of piercing stitching lines, added a bit of lace and used white ink on black cardbase (a bit of chalkboard look). Used Spellbinder die to stamp same verse as above.
I punched four squares from four coordinating colors. I then stamped this large flower from the flowers set and stamped the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment by inking each word and stamping separately to fit within punched circle. I used pop dot to attach to flower center added a ribbon and voila a bright, beautiful and simple card. This could be used for any occasion.
Thanks for stopping by and I would love to know what you think. Do you have any special gift ideas planned for your mom, mother in law, or other special lady in your life? Inspired Stamps April Release-Thursday DT post
Hello Everyone it is time for new releases at Inspired Stamps. Each of the DT members has made projects using new sets that will be available in the Inspired Stamps Online store tomorrow at noon. The new release set that I used for both of my projects is called Labelmaker verses. This set has verses as you see on my home decor house. I cut apart Phil 4:13 to fit on my card. I used individual word stamps for words on the roof and grass area.
For the card, I was inspired by the Labelmaker verse to make the background out of paint chips. I cut off the paint number and name and had a 1/4 inch strip to use on the card. Notice how I reversed the order of the strip for repeated strips ( I started with darkest color to lightest, then lightest to darkest). I cut apart the label verse to fit on the strips and added a clear acetate flower with a button as a pop of color. I didn't want to take away from the colorful background, so the clear flower (with polka dots) worked the best.
Please make sure to check out the Inspired Stamps blog for the other ideas and new releases and then make sure to go to the Inspired Stamps Online store tomorrow at noon to buy these new sets. Inspired Stamps are made in the USA.
