Hello, it is Thursday and time for the Inspired Stamps DT posts. Today we made projects with an Inspired Stamps character and scripture. I chose Shepherd boy and John 10:27-28 from The Lord is My Shepherd set, Inspired Stamps.
I colored the Shepherd boy with Copic markers to match the paper selection (PTI). I cut three pieces of dp to different widths and cut ribbon tails into each and staggered them. I cut a Spellbinder square and embossed in ivory cardstock and stamped scripture in rich cocoa ink. The card background was embossed with a cuttlebug folder. I just love this little character and how well the verse went with him. Please be sure to check out these stamps and many others at the Inspired Stamps Online Store and check out the Inspired Stamps blog for more characters and scripture projects by the other designers.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday
Hello Everyone, back with another DT Thursday Post at Inspired Stamps. In case you didn't already know Inspired Stamps have 3 designated days for posts: Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. We have very talented ladies sharing their creations every week so don't forget to check them out and share a little love while you are at it, I am sure they would love to hear from you. I know I do.
Today we are sharing winter projects. I decided to use Fir Trees and Be Still Silhouettes, Inspired Stamps.I stamped two sizes of fir trees with two colors of ink for depth and inked the sky and below the trees. I added some white gel pen for snow on trees and some glitter pen for added sparkle (you can't see it here but it really looks great in person). I matted the image on tan cardstock and tied a brown ribbon and then mounted to a blue card base. I try to remember when I am looking at something beautiful, like the snow in the trees glistening in the sunlight that these are all God's creations and He wants us to slow down and enjoy them, take them in. This is what I wanted this card to represent, don't get going so fast or caught up with the everyday to forget where it all comes from, our loving creator.
Thank you for stopping by today and be sure to check out the Inspired Stamps store for these and other wonderful sets. Don't forget to check out all the beautiful creations at the Inspired Stamps Blog. Have a great day.

Inspired Stamps-Thursday DT
Hello Everyone! I am sorry I could not post last week. I was unable to get my browser to add my pictures and finally figured out with DH help that I need to change my browser. My old browser doesn't not allow me to add pictures easily any longer. It was a fun, trial by error day until we discovered the fix and here I am this week. Yeah! This week the Inspired Stamps DT was asked to make "love sets" so these are what I came up with. I added a second set at the bottom of post to make up for missing last week (ha ha). I just really couldn't stop making cards, once I got started. I went traditional valentine card colors: pink, red and white. I was going to punch around the page to make cards, but it was so large I turned it into a home decor piece to display for Valentines. What a great reminder of what true love is all about, loving our Lord with all our heart, soul and strength Luke 10:27 (Lovely Lace set).
I also made two cards using similar techniques and for these cards I used two different 3.99 scripture verses Inspired Stamps (1Cor13:13 and Pro3:5). I used shear ribbon on first card and cotton yarn (Martha Stewart) on the second card.
This last set of cards I used the doily and circle stamps from the "Lovely Lace" Inspired Stamps. I stamped the doily in white chalk ink as a background on the red card base and stamped the "love circle" in black on white cardstock and punched out with circle punch and mounted on red scallop punched circle and then on white heart circle (Spellbinders). I added some red glitter to the heart image.
Make sure to check out the other projects by the rest of the DT and welcome Deneen back to the DT. If you are interested in any of these stamps head on over to the Inspired Stamps online store and make sure that you check out the Inspired Stamps blog. There are DT posts on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursdays as well as other tutorials, giveaways etc... so be sure to visit often. Have a blessed day.
