Inspired Stamps- DT Thursday

Today the Inspired Stamps design team is bringing you "Fall Birthday" cards.  I made my card with Perfect Sentiments and Fall Gratitude, Inspired Stamp sets.  The designer papers are from the BoBunny Apple Cider Collection.
I inked all the paper edges with walnut stain distress ink.  I cut a flower from a couple of Spellbinder flower die sets.  I cut a few small tags and stamped images from Fall Gratitude and then inked with antique linen and walnut stain distress inks.
Remember every Friday is a new project posted on the Inspired Stamps Blog for the 12 weeks of Christmas, don't miss some great ideas.
Hope you have a great day.  Thanks for stopping by.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday

Hello Everyone.  It is Thursday.  School is back in full swing.  It is hard to believe but Fall will soon be here, so today we are creating fall themed cards using our favorite Inspired Stamps. I love sunflowers, they are so bright and cheery and make a great transition from summer to fall.  So I used the Fall Gratitude set with Flower value pack.  I colored the flowers with Copic markers and popped them up for added dimension.  The scripture I chose is Psalm 107:1.  This is a scripture we should have in our hearts in every season.  No matter what we are going through the Lord is still good and we should still praise Him.  Praise Him today for what He has done for you.

Please stop by the other DT blogs to see their fall themed cards.  Inspired Stamps are made of clear polymer in the USA and can be purchased in the Inspired Stamps Online store. Thank you for stopping by today and have a blessed weekend.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday

Fall is in the air and we have another Fall card for you.  I have pulled out my Cricut for the banner with the leaves and then inked it up with distress inks.  I decided to try some vintage book paper as the background.  I love books so this is sometimes difficult for me to use the book pages on projects, so I try to find books that have been well loved and now are too tattered for reading so that they can be repurposed into crafts and loved some more.  I cut some flags from the pennant Spellbinder die sets and stamped pumpkins on one and colored with Copic markers and stamped the verse, "In everything give thanks" and added a bit of burlap and a button.  What do you think?  The stamp set was Fall Gratitude and it is available in the Inspired Stamps store.  Currently there is a sale that will be going on until November 4, so stop by and take advantage.  Next week we will be posting some new release stamp sets so you will want to join us again for that.  At the Inspired Stamps blog you will find fun gifting ideas using the Inspired Stamps line, so be sure to check out those ideas and get crafting.  Have a great day and I hope you stay dry.

Inspired Stamps- Thursday DT post

It is Thursday.  Fall is definitely in air.  The temperatures have cooled down and the leaves are falling from the trees.  This week the DT was asked to make Fall inspired cards, so I used the Fall Gratitude set.  I used some non-traditional Fall colors for a fresh feel.  I distressed the edges of paper with walnut distress inks.

Inspired Stamps DT Thursday

Hello everyone.  The leaves are starting to change colors and fall from the trees here.  At Inspired Stamps we were asked to make a card with Fall colors.  The first card I used some corrugated cardboard that I inked the edges with walnut stain distress inks, tied a bow around it and attached it to a Kraft card base.  I stamped and colored the pumpkins and sentiment from Fall Gratitude set.  I added some punched leaves for more color and visual interest.
This second card I had seen this technique around the blog-o-sphere and wanted to try it myself.  It was really easy and the results were interesting.  (I might have to try again in the future.)
I took four lengths of painters tape (you could also try masking tape)  and placed each length in a different distress ink color, placed the tape on the project, rubbed slightly and pulled off and it left an inked stripe.  I then stamped images from Fall Gratitude set and colored.  I might have added more interest if I had colored the leaves in different colors, but my brain was telling me to color them all green.  I stamped the sentiment on the tape line but I did not think it popped enough so I cut a ticket die and inked with the spice marmalade and then stamped sentiment and popped it up with foam adhesive.  This was a fun way to add some Fall colors.  I hope you enjoyed my cards and are inspired to make some Fall cards of your own.    Be sure to visit our other talented designers and see their creations for this week and visit the Inspired Stamps Blog for more fun techniques.  Have a great week.

Inspired Stamps- DT Thursday

Love is in the air here at Inspired Stamps.  Today the DT is posting "love projects".  I have chosen to make a double easel card with Lovely lace, set and Fall Gratitude set, Inspired Stamps.
I saw a tutorial on the blog-o-sphere on using Framelet dies to make the double easel and I have a video tutorial for a triple easel in my video bar.  I do not own any framelets, so I used my Sizzix original dies (Heart no.1(large heart) and Hearts (set of 4) I used the largest heart on the die for inside heart.
I folded a piece of white cardstock in half and placed folded edge just inside the cut line and taped cardstock to die to run through the BigShot.  I then cut a piece of dp with same die to adhere to the outside of the card.  I repeated the steps for the largest heart on the hearts (set of 4) die and cut pink piece of cardstock for outside of that  mini card.  Before adhering the dp to outside of the card fold up the point of heart until it is in the center of the cut out opening (roughly half way up) then attach the dp to only the lower half of white cardstock.  This will allow for the movement to create the easel. Repeat the steps for the smaller heart.  I stamped the sentiment to the pink piece before adhering to white easel base.  I cut two hearts from my dp to adhere to bottom of pink heart for  continuity.  I stamped " I count you twice" on white cardstock and used window punch and foam adhesive to attach to inside of small heart cardbase.  This would allow a "stop"" for inside easel when open.  The little heart acts as a "stop" for the bigger heart when opened.  See pictures below of the entire card opened. This was a fun card to make with a lot of impact to the recipient.

Inside heart easel, opened to the "stop".

Card fully opened so that large heart is "stopped" at smaller heart and smaller heart is "stopped" at the raised sentiment.
Enjoy your Valentine's Day.  Make sure the people in your life know how much you love them today.
Make sure to check out the other beautiful creations by the DT and make sure to stop by the Inspired Stamps blog tomorrow for a new release of 2 X 3 scripture stamps.  Check out Inspired Stamps store for these and other beautiful, made in the USA stamp sets and singles.

Inspired Stamps-Thankful

Hello Everyone.  Happy Thursday.  Thanksgiving is one week away and we are thankful here at Inspired Stamps.  The DT has designed "thankful" projects for this week.  Below you can see my card creation using Trees and Leaves and Fall Gratitude, Inspired Stamps. I used Memento inks in rich cocoa, dadelion, tangelo and bamboo leaves.  I inked the image with Distress ink, frayed burlap.  I colored my gems with Copic markers to match the Memento ink colors.  The dp is PTI autumn pack and the brown twill ribbon is Martha Stewart.  On the inside of the card I used the sentiment "I count you twice".  I hope you have people in your life to be thankful for this year and I hope you take the opportunity to let them know.  Have a great week.  Please be sure to take advantage of the 25% off coupon for the month of November and pick up some of your favorite sets and please check out all the other beautiful projects by the other DT members and the next installment of the 12 weeks of Christmas on Friday.

Inspired Stamps-Thursday DT-Thanks

Hello and welcome to the Thursday DT for Inspired Stamps. This week Inspired Stamps started two days of DT.  There is a Tuesday DT- this week they created cards with characters and scripture and the Thursday DT- we were to make creations giving thanks or Thank You themes.  Here is what I came up with using the Fall Gratitude set and Daisy Hill dp.  All the dp was from the same paper pack (even the butterflies that I fussy cut) and then I added the scripture to the bottom of the panel.  I love the colors and the dimension.  I rounded the corners for a softer look and used the Fiskars scallop punch for two layers for more visual interest.  Please be sure to check out the other DT members for all their beautiful creations this week and be sure to visit Inspired Stamps blog every Tuesday and Thursday for more wonderful projects.  The stamps from last week's release are in the Inspired Stamps Store so please be sure to check them out.  Remember all the stamps are made in the USA.  Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
